Congresswoman Lucille Roybal-Allard celebrates Dr. Seuss' birthday by reading Green Eggs and Ham to Ms. Elizabeth Fujishima’s first and second-grade students at the Utah Street School in Boyle Heights. The visit was part of the National Education Association's annual Read Across America event organized to get children of all ages excited about reading. The Association contributed 30 books in the congresswoman's name to the school's library.
