DOWNEY, CA, Oct 22, 2011 - Congresswoman Lucille Roybal-Allard (CA-34) dropped by the Stonewood Center shopping mall in Downey to talk to some of the exhibitors that participated in the Downey Chamber of Commerce’s 2011 Business Expo. After saying hello to the chamber’s Executive Director Sue Nordin, the congresswoman went around to the tables to talk about the Democrat's Congressional, "Make It In America" initiative and President Obama's American Jobs Act. She also handed out a survey to get feedback from job training centers and small business owners on issues involving reducing taxes, contracting with the federal government, and the Small Business Administration. Owners of small businesses in the 34th Congressional District are encouraged to voice their opinions through the survey on the Rep. Roybal-Allard’s website, http://roybal-allard.house.gov/
