Congresswoman Lucille Roybal-Allard (CA-34) visited with seniors at the annual holiday dance at the International Senior Service Center on Boyle Avenue.

During the congresswoman’s remarks, she provided the seniors with an overview of her constituent casework services available through her Downtown district office by calling (213) 628-9230.  The congresswoman also reminded constituents about important deadlines for the Medicare program and the upcoming Digital Television Transition.  Regarding the transition, she told the audience that after February 17, broadcasters will air digital signals exclusively and televisions that rely on a rooftop antenna or “rabbit ears” will no longer work properly.
