Congresswoman Lucille Roybal-Allard (CA-34) presented two Certificates of Congressional Recognition to representatives of the Hollenbeck Palms senior living community in celebration of the 100th anniversary of its Hollenbeck Memorial Chapel and the Grand Opening of Magnolia Court, its new building that houses 32 apartment units and a bistro. Hollenbeck Palms is a 118-year-old residential living, assisted residential living and skilled nursing facility for seniors located in Boyle Heights. In 1926, it became the first licensed retirement home in California.
