Congresswoman Lucille Roybal-Allard (C-34) thanked Downtown resident Anthony Rendon  for welcoming her and more than a dozen of his friends and neighbors to an informal neighborhood gathering at his home. The casual meeting provided the congresswoman an opportunity to meet the residents and share with them updates about federal legislation pending before Congress. As a member on the House Appropriations Committee, the congresswoman also discussed the federal funding process and how she is able to secure federal funding for important Downtown initiatives.
