Congresswoman Lucille Roybal-Allard (CA-34) visits with a number of the 150 dinner guests at the Barbara J. Riley Community and Senior Center annual holiday dinner and dance. The congresswoman passed out calendars to seniors and reminded them to check their Medicare prescription drug plans before the December 31 deadline to re-enroll. The Barbara J. Riley Community and Senior Center offers a variety of classes, fitness programs, and activities for seniors who live in Downey, including movie showings on Wednesday afternoons.
