Congresswoman Lucille Roybal-Allard (CA-34) presents Don Crowell (on left) and Andrew Crowell with a Congressional Record Tribute in recognition of the 75th Anniversary of Crowell, Weedon & Co., the largest independent investment firm in the Western United States based in Downtown in the 34th District on S. Grand Avenue. The company also operates 10 other offices throughout Southern California. Andrew and Don Crowell are two of the firm’s seventy-two managing partners. The firm was started by their grandfather, Warren Crowell, and George Weedon. Their father, Donald Crowell, Sr., worked at the firm as Managing Partner for over forty years. Rep. Roybal-Allard dropped by the firm’s 75th Anniversary celebration at the Bonaventure Hotel where more than 500 guests made up of employees and their family members gathered to recognize the important milestone.
