Congresswoman Lucille Roybal-Allard (CA-34) joined in the grand opening celebration of Santee Village, a collection of three historic manufacturing buildings converted into 216 loft homes located in the heart of downtown on Los Angeles Street between Seventh and Eighth streets. Developer Mark Weinstein and Marlyn Gates led the congresswoman on a tour of the lofts and condominiums in the Santee, Cornell and Eckardt buildings, which range from 700-square-foot studios to 2,000-square foot 2BR/2BA penthouses.
