As guest speaker at the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce's monthly Pancakes & Politics breakfast, Congresswoman Lucille Roybal-Allard spoke to more than 60 chamber members about federal legislation pending before Congress. The congresswoman, who serves on the Appropriations Committee and represents Downtown, also urged chamber members to meet with Members of Congress with a unified voice about the Los Angeles region’s federal spending priorities. During the congresswoman’s remarks she said, “You can be a tremendous force to encourage all Members of the California Congressional Delegation to work together on behalf of California … And I look forward to working with you towards that goal.
