Congresswoman Lucille Roybal-Allard hosts community “meet & greet” at the Bell Community CenterMore than 125 residents from throughout the 34th Congressional District attended a community “meet & greet” hosted by Congresswoman Lucille Roybal-Allard (CA–34) at the Bell Community Center. At the event, the congresswoman introduced the audience to her entire staff based out of her offices in downtown Los Angeles and in Washington, D.C., all of whom were in attendance. The congresswoman also provided an overview of her many constituent services, including financial aid workshops, a service academy workshop, a scholarship directory and constituent casework services. The congresswoman’s caseworkers are available to assist district residents in resolving problems with federal agencies such as the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, U.S. Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services, the Social Security Administration, the Internal Revenue Service and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. The congresswoman’s caseworkers are also available during special constituent outreach hours regularly held in East Los Angeles, Bell Gardens, Downey, Maywood, Bell (at the community center), Bellflower, Huntington Park, Commerce, Boyle Heights, and Cudahy.
