Congresswoman Lucille Roybal-Allard (CA-34) met with Father Robert Lawton, President of Loyola Marymount University, and David Burcham, Dean of Loyola Law School, to discuss the work of the Law School’s Center for Juvenile Law and Policy. The center, located at the university's law school in downtown Los Angeles, is dedicated to advocacy on behalf of children in the juvenile court system. They spoke about efforts to expand the work of the center to the Eastlake Juvenile Courthouse, on Broadway in East Los Angeles, which serves the congresswoman's district. The center is the first of its kind in the Western United States.
