Congresswoman Lucille Roybal-Allard (CA-34) toured United California Corporation’s manufacturing facilities on Woodruff Avenue in Downey. The 43-year-old company employs nearly 200 people in Downey, many of whom are experienced engineers, skilled machinists and shop workers who make the company’s broad selection of tools and tool parts used in the aircraft and automotive industries. The company’s five buildings in Downey cover 90,000 square-feet of manufacturing and warehouse space. Pictured in the second photo: Congresswoman Roybal-Allard meets Jeff Wong of Downey.
