Congresswoman Lucille Roybal-Allard dropped by to visit the children of the Hope Street Family Center's Early Childhood Center during their holiday program in the Pico-Union area west of downtown Los Angeles. The Hope Street Family Center -- one component of California Hospital Medical Center's Community Programs -- is a collaborative venture between the center and the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). The center operates its Early Childhood Center, which is a licensed, center-based child care facility located at Angelica Evangelical Lutheran Church in Pico-Union.
