Congresswoman Lucille Roybal-Allard (CA-34) updated members of the Boyle Heights Chamber of Commerce about her federal efforts in Congress to reduce crime, revitalize neighborhoods and support local youth at its annual holiday breakfast. More than 60 chamber members, local officials and community residents attended the event held at the Mexican restaurant El Rinconcito in Boyle Heights. Last year, in recognition of the congresswoman's overall efforts to secure funding for community initiatives important to Boyle Heights, the chamber honored her with its Legislator of the Year Award.
