Congresswoman Lucille Roybal-Allard (pictured center) joins local Commerce officials and community residents in celebrating the completion of the protective sound wall along Ferguson Drive, near the area of the June 2003 train derailment. The protective sound wall was built to provide added security to the neighborhood, reduce noise levels from the trains and improve the residents' views from their homes. The community event took place at Miracle Place, renamed from Davie Avenue following the accident to highlight the fact that no lives were lost as a result of the derailment.
