Congresswoman Lucille Roybal-Allard (CA-34) introduced Congressman Mike Honda (CA-15, Silicon Valley) at the 30th anniversary celebration of Pacific Asian Consortium in Employment (PACE) at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels in downtown. More than 500 supporters of the organization attended the event, which was co-chaired by Congressman Honda who is chair of the Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus (CAPAC) and Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa. PACE is a community development organization that provides a wide-variety of services to Asian Pacific Islander communities, including workforce development, housing services and development, business assistance, and early childhood education. PACE is headquartered at 1055 Wilshire Blvd at Bixel Street in downtown in the congresswoman's district.
