Members of the National Association of Hispanic Publications (NAHP) honored Congresswoman Lucille Roybal-Allard (CA-34) with its Outstanding Congressional Advocacy Acknowledgement Award for her ongoing support of Hispanic publishers in this country.  The group noted the congresswoman's work regarding federal-agency advertisements in Latino-owned publications - in particular, a federal study she commissioned looking into possible disparities in government advertising in minority-owned publications versus other media outlets.
