Congresswoman Lucille Roybal-Allard discusses Los Angeles' Autry National Center with Jackie Autry, widow of the famous cowboy entertainer, Gene Autry, who founded the center. The center is the administrative body of three museums: the Southwest Museum of the American Indian; the Museum of the American West; and the Women of the West Museum. The center also oversees the Institute for the Study of the American West, which provides learning opportunities to scholars, educators, students and the general public about the history of the American West.
