Congresswoman Lucille Roybal-Allard (CA-34) welcomed local 7-Eleven franchisee Matt Mattu to our nation’s capital to lobby members of Congress about the rising cost of interchange fees – hidden fees assessed every time a customer uses a credit card. Of the 827 7-Eleven stores in the Southern California Division, Mr. Mattu’s stores had the most customers (more than 4,200) sign a petition to raise awareness about the fees.
