Congresswoman Lucille Roybal-Allard (CA-34) thanked Tiffany Young for her assistance during her year-long internship in her Los Angeles District Office. A native of South Los Angeles, Tiffany received her bachelor’s degree from UC Riverside and is soon to complete her Masters in Social Work from the University of Southern California. While interning in the congresswoman's office, Tiffany had the opportunity to attend meetings and events throughout the 34th Congressional District with the congresswoman and her staff.  For example, pictured on September 27, 2010, Tiffany (shown on left) stands with Congresswoman Roybal-Allard at the site of the New Genesis apartment project on Main Street in Downtown.  Secretary Shaun Donovan of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development was the event’s special guest.  In addition to providing administrative support, Tiffany also delivered a briefing to office staff about resources available to high school students in the district.  For more information about internship opportunities in the congresswoman's Downtown Los Angeles and Washington, D.C. offices, students who live in the 34th Congressional District are encouraged to call Diana Porras at (213) 628-9230.
