Congresswoman Lucille Roybal-Allard (CA-34) hosted her annual U.S. Service Academies Workshop at the Downey City Library on Saturday, October 22nd. The guest speaker for the event was Colonel R. Mark Toy,  Los Angeles District Commander of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Rep. Roybal-Allard is shown with two of her constituents, Cadet Hee Yeon Kim, who is attending the Military Academy at West Point, and Midshipman William Cortez, who is attending the Naval Academy.
